Here's what your money would have done in Turtle / Donchian Breakout's validated window.
Strategy returns include costs and slippage. Benchmark comparison (vs the category primary and the S&P 500 total return) is backfilling and not shown yet — we don't plot a line we can't source.

Common mistakeGrabbing a random EA off a forum. Only the file from this page matches the verdict.
Open and fund a OX Securities account
5 minOpen OX Securities (MT4/MT5) and clear identity verification (KYC), then fund it.
Open a OX Securities account →We may earn a commission when you fund an account through this link. Verdicts are computed by Methodology v1.0 with no commercial input — a broker relationship never changes a result.
Common mistakeFunding more than a max-drawdown event can survive. Size to the worst case, not the average.
Install on MT4/MT5
5 minLoad the strategy onto MT4/MT5 and confirm automated trading is enabled.
- Open MetaTrader and go to File → Open Data Folder.
- Copy the .ex4 / .ex5 expert advisor into MQL4/Experts (MT4) or MQL5/Experts (MT5).
- Restart MetaTrader, then drag the EA onto the strategy's chart and timeframe.
- In the EA dialog, enable "Allow live trading" and confirm AutoTrading is on.
Common mistakeForgetting to switch on AutoTrading / "Allow live trading" — the bot sits there doing nothing.
Set the parameters exactly

Common mistakeRetuning parameters "to do better." Any change voids the verdict — you are now trading an untested strategy.
Paper trade for 7 days first
7 daysRun on a demo / paper account until live fills track the validated backtest.
Common mistakeSkipping paper trading. Live slippage and spread always bite harder than the backtest assumed.
Go live, start small
5 minOnly fund the live account once paper trading matches. Begin at minimum size.
Common mistakeGoing live at full size on day one. Scale up only after live behavior is boring and predictable.
Monitor for drift
OngoingA live bot can drift from its validated behavior. Watch drawdown and trade frequency weekly.

Is Turtle / Donchian Breakout guaranteed to make money on OX Securities?
No. The verdict describes a hypothetical backtest under modeling assumptions. Past results do not guarantee future returns, and live costs differ. See the full report on the strategy page.
Does Validated get paid if I open a OX Securities account?
We may earn a commission, disclosed above. It never changes a verdict — gate thresholds are fixed before any strategy runs.
Can I change the parameters?
You can, but the verdict no longer applies. Every number on this page is the configuration the strategy was validated on. Change one and you're trading something untested.
